The St. Marys Legion baseball team improved to 6-0 on the season with a 5-2 victory over the Bradford Legion Friday night at Berwind Park.
Ben Daghir went the distance for the St. Marys squad, as he scattered eight hits while striking out 13.
St. Marys had seven hits in the contest, led by Ricky Pearsall’s three-for-three night with a triple, a double and a single. Jordan Weinzierl doubled while Kevin Hoy, Eric Wehler and Nate Geist all singled.
“Ricky (Pearsall) had a good night at the plate, which he has been doing all season,” said St. Marys manager Fran Pasi.
