Upon the opening of the City Council meeting, council dismissed for a brief executive session regarding legal matters, about which Mayor Sally Geyer stated that nothing was resolved. All members of council were present at Monday's meeting.
City Manager Dave Greene presented his report, during which he stated he attended a pre-construction meeting for the ATA Depot Street terminal building project on June 28.

Effective Friday, Straub Brewery, Inc. ceased home and tavern delivery of its products to area residents and will expand its partnership with local distributors in order to get its beer to customers' doors.
According to a letter sent to regular home delivery customers explaining the change, the number of these customers declined to the point over the years where, given the cost of fuel and other expenses, it no longer became feasible to offer the service without raising prices.

OHIO - A former Kane resident has been charged in Ohio with “pandering” child pornography on his home computer.
Andrew Grisham, 22, was placed in the Summit County, Ohio jail in lieu of $75,000 bond on the felony charge, according to a spokesman for the Stowe, Ohio Municipal Court.
The spokesman said Grisham faces a preliminary hearing Thursday before Judge Lisa Coates in the Stowe court. The spokesman said Akron, Ohio attorney Roger K. Davidson represents Grisham.
