March 28, 2012

With two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader softball team was down 3-1 to the Brockway Lady Rovers and it looked like ECC might record their first loss of the young season. The team's only run had come from Jena Struble in the third inning, and they were not even in a position to tie the game with only a runner on second base.

“It was definitely a learning day as we found out things we are doing well and things we need to work on. We definitely had a positive opening to our season,” said the coach.
