The St. Marys Area gymnastics team fared well at the Moon Gymnastics Invitational held Saturday at Moon Township placing third overall with 128.625 points.

The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders put up a strong performance on the court Saturday night to keep the visiting Brookville Lady Raiders at bay and come away with a 59-43 victory.

ST. MARYS – On Saturday, gun rights advocates gathered nationwide to commemorate the first annual "Gun Appreciation Day," an event organized by gun advocacy groups in response to president Barack Obama's initiating 23 executive actions aimed at curbing gun violence.
