John Leo Colle, 73, of Lee, Maine, died on May 9, 2013, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, after a brief bout with cancer.
Born November 9, 1939, in Kane, he was a son of Felix and Elizabeth Colle.
KERSEY â€“ At just 25, Lacey Skillman of Ridgway has been waging a battle against colorectal cancer as she has been in and out of remission for a little over a year.

Jennie R. Capuccini, 93, a resident of Elk Haven and a former Kersey resident, died Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was born March 2, 1920, in Kersey, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Antonioli Capuccini.
She was a lifelong resident of the area, attended Kersey schools, and was a former employee of the Stackpole Carbon Co.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Church.
She is survived by a sister, Carolyn Miller and her husband James of State College; and by several nieces and nephews.
Jane A. Barber, 66, of 7676 Glen Hazel Road, Rasselas, died on the evening of Saturday, June 8, 2013 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 25, 1946 in Rasselas, daughter of John "Jack" and Carmella M. Allegretto Sample.
On Feb. 25, 1968 in St. Anne's Church in Wilcox she married David C. Barber, who survives.
Mrs. Barber resided in the Rasselas/Wilcox area all her life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1965. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in St. Marys. She had been employed by Windfall Specialty for several years.
Celebrate, remember and fight back are just what participants and community members did this weekend during the 2013 Relay for Life of Elk County held at the Fox Township Community Park. Susan Babik, American Cancer Society staff, said they anticipate reaching their goal of $135,000 set by the relay's organizing committee.
