Nellie Mae Stump, age 84, of Myrtle Street, Johnsonburg, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her daughter's home in Leeper after a short, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 22, 1929 in Big Run, daughter of the late Irvin and Ruth (Wachob) Henry.
She was married to Robert Stump, who survives. The couple would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary Aug. 16.Â Â Â Â Â Â
Margaret A. â€śDaisyâ€ť Herbst, 91, of 153 Queens Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1921 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Harry S. and Margaret C. Doyle Ford. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1939.
On Jan. 22, 1944 in the St. Maryâ€™s Church, she married Anthony F. â€śTonyâ€ť Herbst, who preceded her in death on July 12, 2000.
