While summer is prime flip flop season, it is also the ideal time to gather donations for the Flip Flops for Soldiers project. The New Jersey grass roots project's goal is to provide flip flops for the walking wounded military personnel as they pass through a transient medical facility in the Middle East.
Those interested in contributing to the cause may do so by dropping off donations at Shoe Sensation, located in the St. Marys Plaza on the Million Dollar Highway, in the box marked "drop your flops here."
