Donald G. Olson, 91, of 315 Jackson Ave., Ridgway, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 2013, at Elk Regional Health Center.
He was born March 19, 1921 in Ridgway, son of the late Fritz and Molly (Nelson) Olson.
He married Martha E. Miller on Sept. 14, 1946 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Marys, with Fr. Henry officiating.
He had resided in Ridgway all of his life and was a 1938 graduate of the Ridgway High School. He was a member of the Ridgway Elks Club, and a past member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII.
Adeline M. Knight, 94, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 139 Locust Rd., St. Marys, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 5, 1918 in Kersey, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Eckert Emmert.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1937. She was a former employee of the Market Basket for 27 years.
On Sept. 1, 1939, in the St. Boniface Church in Kersey, she married Othmar P. Knight, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1978.
Rose Marie Hedberg, 70, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Byrnedale, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 29, 1942, daughter of the late Steve and Jenny (Micale) Kuchy.
She was a lifelong resident of Bennetts Valley and the proud owner of Rose's Hilltop Diner for the past 20 years.
Margaret V. Anzinger
Margaret V. Anzinger, 83, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, and formerly of Elk Towers and Weedville, died peacefullyÂ surrounded by her family at Elk Haven Nursing Home on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 23, 2013.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Johnsonburg, a daughter of the late Herbert and Marie Lukehart Fox.
On May 31, 1958, in Tyler, she married John Anzinger, who survives.
She lived most of her life in Bennetts Valley and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
