HORTON TWP. â€“ State police are investigating the deaths of three individuals, ages 7, 8, and 32, at a Brockport home Thursday night.
According to police, the deaths occurred at a 4708 Route 219 residence between 7 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. on July 4.

Gene L. Gasbarre, 85, formerly of 121 Polk Ave., Ridgway died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Snyder Memorial Health Care in Marienville.
He was born May 21, 1928 in Ridgway, son of the late Zachary and Angela (DiNardo) Gasbarre.
He married Hilda J. Winters on December 28, 1950, and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2012.

The St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce moved their annual Fourth of July celebration to the St. Marys Airport this year and, while some residents were hesitant about the move, many seemed pleased with the overall event and responded to a request on The Daily Press' Facebook page to share their thoughts.
Area youngsters between the ages of five and 14 who plan to participate in Inner Park Day at Memorial Park this year are encouraged to sign up for the event by July 8. The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 with a rain date of the following day, and the advance signups are being held this year in an effort to provide each participant with an event T-shirt.
