James A. "Jimboi" Piccirillo

James A. "Jimboi" Piccirillo, 73, of 132 Teaberry Rd., St. Marys, died on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Penn Highlands Elk following a brief illness.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1941, a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Rezzelle Piccirillo.
On July 3, 1976 in St. Marys, he married JoAnn Burgeson Piccirillo, who survives.

Cleanup Day set for Saturday

The City of St. Marys only Cleanup Day of 2014 is taking place on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The dump site is located off Graphite Road at the City Maintenance Building.
Residents are allowed to bring items difficult to haul away for disposition at a certified landfill.
Items such as old furniture, appliances, mattresses, water heaters, barrels, etc. are allowed as long as the item can be hand dumped by the residents.

Local luncheon to benefit Children's Hospital

In an effort to assist families with children suffering from cleft and craniofacial anomalies, proceeds from the 'An Afternoon of Smiles' luncheon taking place Sunday, May 18 at The Red Fern will benefit the Adam's Smile Auxiliary of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
In addition to a luncheon the event will feature a fashion show and silent auction from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
"We are very excited about this year's function. We are hoping for a great turnout and a wonderful day spent with family, friends, and our community," said Amy Straub, event chairwoman.
