SMASD superintendent discusses ongoing difficulties with cyber school

ST. MARYS - With debate over the virtues of cyber and charter schools reaching a fevered pitch in political and educational forums across the nation, Thursday's meeting of the St. Marys Area School Board included an impassioned articulation by superintendent Ann Kearney of the impact of cyber schools have had on districts like hers and measures being considered to "stem the flow of students dropping out of the district" to attend cyber schools.
