November 19, 2012

The 2013 City of St. Marys budget is available for review pending City Council's approval to advertise it during Monday's meeting. Council must adopt the budget before the end of the year.
"The rates for the 2013 [budget]-- our tax monies stayed exactly the same as last year," said City Manager Dave Greene.
There is no tax increase in the 2013 proposed budget as it is very similar to the 2012 budget. The general fund was balanced at $5,971,291 and reflects no increases in wages or changes in benefits for all employees.
