In addition to books, patrons of the St. Marys Public Library have a wealth of resources from which to choose whenever they visit.
The library has many other appealing items that may be checked out free of charge. These items include DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and magazines, and educational kits in the children's department.Â
St. Marys Public Library Director Scarlette Corbin said the facility recently began offering eBook and audio book downloads as well.
A beautification project to take place in downtown St. Marys was announced at a recent meeting of St. Marys City Council, with council members voting to approve a request to apply for an $8,600 grant through the Elk County Community Foundation to fund the project.
The city will apply for the grant on behalf of the newly formed St. Marys Heritage Preservation Group, which will be leading the project.
