Following the introduction of Governor Tom Corbett's proposed $28.4 billion state spending plan for 2013-2014 educators like St. Marys Area School District Superintendent Ann Kearney are contending that the individual allocations are inadequate when considering the increased costs associated with maintaining the district's day to day operations.
Two Purple Heart award recipients were honored at the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail annual banquet held Saturday evening at the Bavarian Hills.
