According to eyewitness reports, Richard Pratt, 42, was stopped at the light at the bottom of Montmorenci Road in Ridgway early Sunday evening at when he heard brakes screeching behind him. His 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup was rear-ended by a 2002 Mazda Tribute driven by a known 19-year-old. Wastewater plant facing challenges of high inflows

The St. Marys Sewage Treatment Plant continues to see high inflows, as in 2012 more than half of the water treated accounted from storm water and inflow and infiltration (I and I).
Last year 54 percent of the water treated consisted of storm water and I and I, with 46 percent being sewage, while in 2011, 59 percent was storm water and 41 percent was sewage.
