BROCKPORT – A nondescript home along a quaint stretch of U.S. Route 219 in Brockport is now the scene of an unspeakable tragedy, after a murder-suicide there on the Fourth of July left a father and his two children dead inside. Reports list the dead as 7-year-old Brian Keith David Jr., 8-year-old Nicole Lynn David, and their father, 32-year-old Brian Keith David Sr.
While summer is prime flip flop season, it is also the ideal time to gather donations for the Flip Flops for Soldiers project. The New Jersey grass roots project's goal is to provide flip flops for the walking wounded military personnel as they pass through a transient medical facility in the Middle East.
Those interested in contributing to the cause may do so by dropping off donations at Shoe Sensation, located in the St. Marys Plaza on the Million Dollar Highway, in the box marked "drop your flops here."
