The majority of deaths investigated by the county coroner's office in 2012 were attributed to natural causes, according to Elk County Coroner Michelle Muccio.

RIDGWAY - The Community Nurses, Inc., an affiliate of Elk Regional Health Systems, is hoping to inspire discussion and consideration of the issues surrounding end-of-life care options with the screening of a documentary film on the topic at 7 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 24 at St. Leo's Social Hall in Ridgway. Another screening will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Education Center at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
