RIDGWAY – The trial for Brandon Michael Weidow, 26, of Byrnedale, reconvened Wednesday morning at the Elk County Courthouse.
Weidow is charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence for his alleged involvement in the crash that killed Savannah Straub in July 2012. In Tuesday's opening remarks, both attorneys advised that the key question in the case is whether Weidow was driving the vehicle on the night of the crash.

Many of those homes were on Fourth and Depot streets with a few on North Michael Street.
As a member of the CFD, Greg Gebauer provided this information to his fellow city council members during their regular June meeting. Councilman Ned Jacob is also a member of the CFD.
