A rumor that the St. Marys Area Ambulance Service will be merging with Cameron County Ambulance is not true, according to officials; however, St. Marys employees will assist Cameron County with coverage.
Following a decision by the Department of Environmental Protection [DEP] to institute general permit fees for stream and wetland projects, the Elk County Conservation District approved a motion to waive fees for reviewing the permit.

Another screening will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Education Center at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
