WILLIAMSPORT - A grand jury delivered a superseding indictment against Thomas Edward Smith, 58, of Emporium charged with the gunpoint carjacking of an Emporium bank employee he blamed for the loss of his home in a mortgage foreclosure.
With the St. Marys Area School District faced with mounting cyber school tuition bills, the district has launched its own cyber school program in an attempt to keep more students and funds in district.
ERIE â€“ A St. Marys woman, Sandra Prechtel, 51, charged with embezzling over $1 million from her former employee was sentenced in an Erie Federal Court Friday to serve four years and three months in federal prison.
