Marjorie A. Wilson, 84, of 185 Center St., Elk Towers, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Valerie Eckl of 520 Hall Ave., following a brief illness.
She was born April 19, 1926 in Byrnedale, daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice Williams Luzier. On September 5, 1946, in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, she married John O. "Jack" Wilson. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Wilfred J. "Willie" Fritz, 96, of 74 Erie Ave., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 at his home.
He was born July 26, 1914 in St. Marys, a son of the late William and Clara Meyer Fritz. He was married to Magdaline "Mae" Trunzo, who preceded him in death on May 31, 1992.
On Nov. 10, 1995 in St. Tobias Church in Brockway, he married Theresa Markley Fritz, who survives.
Vicki F. Caruso, age 90, of River Road, Weedville, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at home.
She was born Jan. 28, 1920 in Caledonia, daughter of the late Modesto and Rose (Manganelli) Bartoletti. On June 4, 1949, she married Albert L. Caruso, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2007.
Mona C. Assalone, 80, of Melio Lane, Weedville died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Pinecrest Manor following a short illness.
She was born August 23, 1930 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Anson and Ethel (Allen) Harlan.
She married Albert Assalone Sr. on April 30, 1949. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1987.
She lived all her life in St. Marys and Bennetts Valley. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church in St. Marys and also attended Weedville Wesleyan Church.
She enjoyed babysitting for family and friends, and especially taking a Sunday drive in the car.
