Agatha Theresa â€śGramâ€ť Gerg, 87, died on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, S.C.
Born June 30, 1924, in St. Marys, she was a daughter of the late George Herzing and Anna Schaberl Herzing. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Leroy Gerg,
Mrs. Gerg was a homemaker and was happiest when surrounded by her loving family.
Eleanor M. Ingram, 87, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Penfield, died on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at her residence following a short illness.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1924 in Benezette, daughter of the late Michael and Minnie (Dill) Gallagher.
She married Clark R. Ingram on July 29, 1945. He died on May 22, 2011.
Robert L. Sewell, Sr., 66, of 662 Washington St., St. Marys, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 25, 1945 in Panama City, Fla., son of the late Louis E. and Ruth Fields Sewell.
On Aug. 19, 1976, in Alabama, he married Patricia A. Taylor, who survives.
Mr. Sewell was employed as a mechanic and attended schools in Panama City. He had resided in St. Marys for the past three years.
Mr. Sewell served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Doris V. Mitchell, 81, of Ridgway, died on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born Feb. 27, 1930, in DuBois, the daughter of Harry and Ellen Pendleton Cook. She married Paul A. Mitchell, who survives, on June 25, 1949.
George A. Long, 67, of River Road, Weedville, died on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at DuBois Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 6, 1944 in DuBois, son of the late George V. and Gladys (Gardner) Long.
He married Marlene (Huff) on Jan. 19, 2011. She survives.
Mr. Long was a graduate of Bennetts Valley High School and lived all his life in Bennetts Valley. He was retired, having worked as a security guard at Treasure Lake for 41 years and also owned and operated the Longbranch Tavern of Weedville for 16 years.
Susan J. Jasper, 68, of 765 Washington St., St. Marys, died on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 4, 1942 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Rita Brennen Heindl.
On Nov. 28, 1963 in Sacred Heart Church, she married the late Thomas Jasper, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1999.
