Catherine Mary (Verbeck) Piccirillo, 96, a resident of Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys (formerly of Ridgway), died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011.
She was born March 5, 1914 in Medix Run, Benezette Township, the daughter of Adiel and Mary (Lynch) Verbeck.
At an early age she moved to Ridgway with her family. On Jan. 5, 1931 she married Clyde Piccirillo, who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1977.
Carl G. Lecker, 56, of 160 Averyville Rd., St. Marys, died on Saturday evening, Feb. 12, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 4, 1954 in St. Marys, a son of the late Albert J. and Naomi Halpin Lecker.
On Nov. 26, 1977 in St. Mary's Church, he married Stephanie Eckert Lecker, who survives.
Albert Louis Covac, 93, of 116 Poplar Rd., St. Marys, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home after an illness of the past several months.
He was born Jan. 4, 1918, in Falls Creek, son of the late Joseph and Frances (Mary) Marn Covac.
On Aug. 10, 1940, in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg, he married Irene G. Mackcoviak, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys parochial schools. He was also a member of the Queen of the World Church.
