Floyd C. "Pinky" Herzing, 82, of 1910 Bucktail Trail, St. Marys, died on Monday, July 4, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.
He was born April 27, 1929 in St. Marys, a son of the late William and Mary Garbic Herzing.
On November 25, 1950, he married Ethel "Eppie" Schauer Herzing, who survives.
Mr. Herzing was a member of Queen of the World Church, where he also served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Stackpole Carbon for more than 25 years, and also worked for ARCO and Hughes Aircraft.Â
Della Marie Harmon, 92, of West Logan Ave., DuBois, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on Nov. 8, 1918 in Blacklick, she was the daughter of the late Daniel L. & Amanda A. (Kinter) Dunlap.
She was married to Paul E. Harmon for 70 years. He survives.
She was a 1937 graduate of Blairsville High School. She had been employed as a beautician in Indiana, Pa., and had worked at the Penn Traffic Company in DuBois. She was also a dog groomer for many years.
