Catherine M. (Kay) Micale

Catherine M. (Kay) Micale, 98, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of the Million Dollar Highway, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Pinecrest Manor after a brief illness.
She was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 23, 1914, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Exler Donovan. On Sept. 7, 1936, in the St. Joseph's Church in Carnegie, she married Peter A. Micale, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1986.
Mrs. Micale was a graduate of Pittsburgh schools and had resided in the St. Marys area since 1954. She was a former employee of the Joseph Horne Department Store in Pittsburgh.

Freda M. Fox

Freda M. Fox, 85, formerly of 434 Pattison St., St. Marys, died Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home, Clearfield.
Born Oct. 2, 1926 in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Woefel Silvis and was raised by the late Michael and Mary Heigel. 
On March 28, 1946, in Brockway, she married James L. Fox, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2002.
She attended St. Marys High School and had been employed at Sylvania and later at Keystone and Hour Glass Cleaners.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and St. Anne Society.

Jeffrey J. (Dad) Erich

Jeffrey J. (Dad) Erich, 51, of Maple Ave., Ridgway, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at home, in the arms of his wife, leaving behind many broken hearts.
He was born Jan. 27, 1961, in Ridgway, the son of John and Judith Shipe Erich of Kersey.
He graduated from St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1979. He was employed at Morgan AM&T. He was an avid reader, and he was a big Steelers fan.
