Sahlee J. Courson, 72, of 52 Sabula Lake Rd., DuBois, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1939 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Agnes Schriner Bowser.
She married Theodore "Ted" Courson, who survives.
She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in DuBois and enjoyed hummingbirds and collecting butterflies.
Ruth M. Bauer, 86, of 163 East Oilwell St., St. Marys, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec 5, 1925 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Ignatius and Gertrude Fritz Feldbauer.
She was married to the late Walter J. Bauer Sr., who preceded her in death in 1956.
Mrs. Bauer was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Sacred Heart Church. She was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1943. She devoted her life and love to caring for her children and grandchildren, whom she greatly enjoyed spending time with.
