James S. Hornung, 78, of 109 W. 5th Street of Emporium, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 22, 2012 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys, with his family by his side following a very long, courageous fight with cancer.
He was born July 16, 1934, in Emporium, a son of the late Simon and Matilda “Tillie” Oswald Hornung.
On May 21, 1955, in St. Mark Catholic Church, he married Sandra Regelman Hornung, who survives.
