Harold A. "Rudy" Simbeck, 80, of 177 Wehler Rd., St. Marys, died on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012Â following a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 15, 1931 in St. Marys, a son of the late Charles and Estella Galmish Goodrow Simbeck. On July 24, 1954 in St. Mary's Church, he married the late Rita Mae Wendel, who preceded him in death on June 15, 2004.
Christine H. Brem, 89, a resident of the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois and formerly of the Elk Towers and Grandview Road, St. Marys, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at the DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 20, 1922, in Daguschonda, daughter of the late John and Frances Knouse Meholic. On May 29, 1947, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married George J. "Jingles" Brem, who he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1995.
