William E. Barrett, 87, of 316 N. Michael St., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
He was born Jan. 29, 1925 in Bellefonte, a son of the late William E. and Elmira M. Cain Barrett.
On June 6, 1959 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, he married the late Marilyn Hammer Barrett, who preceded him in death on June 5, 1996.
Russell (Rusty) Auman, 63, formerly of St. Marys, died on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at his home in Puyallup, Wash. after a long battle with MS.
He was born in St. Marys on Aug. 1, 1949, son of the late Marinus and Doris (Fritz) Auman. He was married to Lori (Barnhouse) Auman, who preceded him in death on Dec. 31, 2002.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Betsie A. Nelson, 69, of River Road, Weedville, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, surrounded by her family at UPMC Presbyterian.
She was born Sept. 15, 1943 in Henderson, Ky., daughter of the late Richmond & Cynthia (Townsend) Dailey. On July 1, 1978, she married Vincent "Skip" Nelson Sr., who preceded her in death on March 3, 2010.
Betsie lived most of her life in DuBois and Weedville.Â She was a graduate of DuBois High School, Class of 1961. She retired from Rockwell in 2002 after 32 years and was currently working at the St. Marys Area Middle School cafeteria.
Naomi R. Kifer, 95, of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Johnsonburg, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 5, 1917 in Mansfield, daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Potter) Summers. In 1935, she married Elmer E. Kifer Sr., who predeceased her in 1966.
She worked with G.C. Murphy Company and Stackpole Carbon. She was Episcopalian by faith and was a past member of the Women of the Moose and the Women of the Elks. She lived all of her life in Johnsonburg.
Wanda L. "Wendy" Herzing Cameroni, 53, of 650 Vermont Rd., St. Marys, and formerly of Thermopolis, W.Y.,
died on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the home of her sister in Wilcox, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 7, 1959 in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Leander "Lee" Herzing and Dorothy Stelene Gesin.
Wendy was a graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School, Class of 1977.Â She was employed by Powdered Metal Products
for many years.Â She enjoyed crocheting, dancing and going for 4-wheeler rides.Â She was always smiling and she found
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Donald J. Vogt, who died on April 26, 2012, will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as celebrant.
Charles J. Schutz, 80, formerly of Brockway and a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, died with his loving family at his side on Nov. 7, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born in St. Marys on June 26, 1932, the son of the late Jerome and Dorothy Dill Schutz. He married Mary Lou Renwick, who died on Sept. 27, 1965.
Mary M. Glatt, 69, of 676 Washington St., St. Marys, died at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.
She was born July 18, 1943 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late George and Cecelia Klaiber Glatt.
Mary was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Mary's Church.Â She retired from Sylvania after many years of service.Â She enjoyed her pets, reading and watching football.
Edward H. Wilhelm, 87, of 1169 Windfall Road, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie following a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 19, 1926 in St. Marys, a son of the late Edward J. and Anna Breindel Wilhelm.
On Sept. 8, 1951 in Force, he married the late Frances "Babe" Canton Wilhelm, who preceded him in death on March 27, 2011.
Frederick J. Moore, 76, of 108 Madison Ave., Ridgway, died, Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
He was born April 4, 1936, in Emporium, the son of the late Jay P. and Lula N. Chandler Moore. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise Shadd Moore.
Mr. Moore had been a Ridgway resident for 35 years and served in the U.S. Air Force in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.
Mr. Moore had been employed at Country Fair, Erich Trucking, Pinecrest Manor, and Industrial Steel and Pipe. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and talking with his many friends.
