Victoria Karoleski

Victoria Karoleski, 88, a resident of Christ the King Manor and formerly of Reed Street in DuBois, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 22, 1924 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Adamski) Dobinski.
On April 23, 1949, she married Edward S. Karoleski, who survives.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society.
She enjoyed being with her family.

Stanley C. “Cork” Langston Jr.

Stanley C. “Cork” Langston Jr., 62, of Winslow Hill Road, Benezette, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born May 29, 1950 in Washington, D.C., the son of Stanley C. Langston Sr. and Marjorie (Zema) Langston, who survive. On June 25, 1983, he married Pegenne (Jones), who survives.
He was a graduate of Knoch High School in Saxonburg and had been a resident of Benezette since 1998.
He served for two years in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era as a Corporal in the Marine Corps Air Division.

Teresa Weidenboerner

Teresa Weidenboerner, 76, of 200 Bayberry Rd., St. Marys, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at the Elk Regional Health Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 21, 1936 in Kersey, daughter of the late Henry and Theresa Jaeger Holtzhauser. On Sept. 9, 1974 in Frederick, Md., she married Andrew J. Weidenboerner, who survives.

Charles J. Polaski

Charles J. Polaski, 89, of Louisiana Lane, Johnsonburg, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at the Snyder Memorial Health Care Center, Marienville.
He was born Oct. 6, 1923 in Ridgway, son of the late Pete and Stella Polaski. On March 7, 1962 he married Karen Elmquist, who survives.
He lived all his life in Johnsonburg and worked at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill for more than 43 years. He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed walking and gardening. He was a hard worker and enjoyed helping others.

Lisa M. DeMay

Lisa M. DeMay, 44, of 229 Mill St., Johnsonburg, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 15, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
She was born on July 12, 1968 in St. Marys, the daughter of Donald and Lucille Asti Haight.
She married David A. DeMay on Aug. 25, 1990 in Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. He survives.

Susan “Susie” Walter Bernstein

Susan “Susie” Walter Bernstein, 55, a 25-year resident of Annapolis, Md., died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at her home after a 22-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1957 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Irene and Martin Walter.

Frank J. Milliard Jr.

Frank J. Milliard, Jr., 80, of 2488 Water Street Extension, Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, Feb. 15, 2013 at the Lutheran Home at Kane following a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 25, 1932 in Onondega, N.Y., son of the late Frank J. and Angeline Asti Milliard.
He married Joan Colosimo in 1957, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 8, 1988.
He resided in Johnsonburg since 1975 and had also lived in Riverside, Calif.

Nancy M. Dilullo

Nancy M. Dilullo, 89, of Dilullo Road in Penfield, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 18, 1923 in Tyler, the daughter of the late Frank and Carmella (Costantino) Reo.
On June 8, 1943 she married Nicholas F. Dilullo Sr., and he preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2008.
 Nancy was a homemaker and lived all her life in the Tyler and Penfield areas. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, taking pride in her home and taking care of her family.

Jerome J. Cavalline

Jerome J. Cavalline, 71, of 324 Ash St., St. Marys, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the Elk Regional Health Center.
He was born March 19, 1941 in Coal Hollow, son of the late Louis P. and Marie Malone Cavalline. On Sept. 26, 1986, in the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Wilcox, he married Julie A. Johnson, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1959. He was a former employee of the Stackpole Carbon Co., Speer Carbon, Elk Regional Health Center, and was also a former bus driver.

Dianna L. Blasik

Dianna L. Blasik, 56, of North Michael St., St. Marys, died suddenly at home on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1956 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Calvin and Dorothy (Whitsell) Merat.
On March 23, 1994 she married Robert J. Blasik, who survives.
She lived all her life in the Bennetts Valley and St. Marys areas. She was a homemaker and a very loving, considerate, thoughtful, and helpful wife, mother and grandmother.
