Mary Lee Urmann, 77, of 551 Charles St., St. Marys, and formerly of 344 South St., Ridgway, died Thursday evening, Jan. 6, 2011, at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in St. Marys on Oct. 5, 1933, the daughter of Leander B. and Marian Ryan Weis.
On April 7, 1956 in Sacred Heart Church, she married John M. Urmann Sr., who survives.
Thomas W. Miller, 92, formerly of Huntingdon, died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Valley View Haven Nursing Home, Belleville, where he had most recently been a resident.
He was born March 1, 1918, in Huntingdon, son of the late William Asbury and Charlotte (Wall) Miller.
Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Gorske, 67, of Johnsonburg, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at Rockdale Personal Care Home, Falls Creek.
She was born April 15, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Theresa Agnus Marie Gorske.
She was a 1961 graduate of the Johnsonburg Area High School and retiree of Osram Sylvania in St. Marys.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Gorske; four grandchildren, Shaila Gorske, Dakota Gorske, Elijiah Gorske and Taylor Feronti; and two sisters, Barbara Anderson and Mary Himes.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Arthur G. Weber, 85, of St. Marys, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 at the Erie Veterans Hospital after a short illness.
He was born April 21, 1925 in St. Marys, son of the late Michael and Anna (Birner) Weber.
On Aug. 10, 1963, he married Shirley Wehler, who preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 2000.
He lived all his life in St. Marys, spending the past year with his daughter in Ridgway. He worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Queen of the World Catholic Church.
Bernice I. Loefï¬‚er, 93, of Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, died on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 23, 1917 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Alfred J. and Irene McHenry Loefï¬‚er.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.Â She was especially fond of all of her nieces and nephews and she was very good to them.
Ralph L. Franco, 83, of 6498 Ridgway-Johnsonburg Rd., Johnsonburg, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 31, 2010 at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 23, 1927 in Johnsonburg, the son of Batiste and Frances Serianni Franco.
On Sept. 16, 1950 in Holy Rosary Church, he married Rose M. Ferragine, who survives. The couple had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2010.
Lois Ann Bevacqua, 72, of 846 Noelani Dr., Duncansville, died Saturday morning, Jan. 1, 2011 at Altoona Regional Health System in Altoona following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 31, 1938 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Bronislaw "Bruno" and Anna Simchick Golebieski.
On Aug. 20, 1960 in Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg she married Joseph J. Bevacqua, who survives.
Shirley M. Anders, 63, of 329 Main St., Kersey, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 2, 2011, at the Clarion Hospital in Clarion.
She was born Feb. 5, 1947 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Thomas Barr and Shirley Lewis Barr Ingram, who survives, of Kersey.
On July 3, 1965 in the St. Maryâ€™s Church, she married Leroy R. Anders, who survives.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Ridgway High School, Class of 1965. She was a member of T.O.P.S., an avid reader, and enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lucille A. Boyer Davido, 88, of 8 Short St., Ridgway, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born Aug. 11, 1922, in DuBois, the daughter of Frank and Mary Brown Boyer.
She married Donald A. Davido Sr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1982.
Mrs. Davido had resided in Ridgway for 63 years. She was a member of St. Leoâ€™s Catholic Church. She had been employed at Quality Components, where she retired after 24 years of service.
Julia Karlechuck Berneche of Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 in Collingwood Nursing Home.
She married George Berneche, who died in 1993.
