Joseph V. Urmann Jr., 92, of 409 Shelley Dr., Ridgway, died early Monday morning, Dec. 23, 2013, at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born July 29, 1921 in Ridgway, son of the late Joseph V. and Ruth (McMackin) Urmann Sr.
He married Jean Adam on Aug. 28, 1946, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 29, 2008.
He had resided in Ridgway all of his life and was a 1939 graduate of the Ridgway High School, and a 1943 graduate of St. Bonaventure.
Louis S. Morelli, 89, of 1223 Million Dollar Highway, Kersey, died on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 24, 1924 in Kersey, a son of the late Lino and Mary Tamburlin Morelli.
On June 21, 1947, he married the late Alice Wolack Morelli, who preceded him in death on July 1, 2007.
William A. Boderocco, 86, a resident at Highland View Health Care Center in Brockway, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Highland View.
He was born Sept. 30, 1927 in DuBois, son of the late William B. and Jemima McMeekin Boderocco.
He was Presbyterian by faith, and was a member of the Sons of Italy Club in Brockway.
He had been employed at the Ink Plant in Ridgway prior to his retirement.
He is survived by a cousin, Teddy McMeekin of Hinton, W. Va., and is also survived by numerous second and third generation cousins.
Mary E. â€śJudyâ€ť Wissinger, 77, of 204 Fairview Rd., Kersey, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at the Elk Regional Health Center after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 30, 1936 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Edward and Marie Vornbaum Gerg. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School. She was a retired employee of Powdered Metal Products, retiring in 1999 after 34 years of service.
Joseph V. Parana, 81, of 400 Rock St., Ridgway, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.
He was born Jan. 22, 1932 in Johnsonburg, the son of the late Frank and Mary Raubenstrauch Parana.
He married Sara J. Ames, and she predeceased him on Oct. 15, 2012.
He attended Holy Rosary schools.
Mr. Parana was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Doris Kaye Carter O'Donnell, 46, of 100 Higgins Rd., Kersey, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at her home.
She was born June 28, 1967, in Ridgway, daughter of David and Janice Dallasen Carter.
On Nov. 12, 1988, in the St. Boniface Church, she married Sean P. O'Donnell, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1994.
She was a lifelong resident of the area, a member of the St. Boniface Church, attended St. Boniface School, and graduated from St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1985. She was employed by Keystone Powder Metal Products in St. Marys.
Robert C. Beck Sr., 71, of M. Pleasant Road, Penfield, died on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 13, 1942 in Gardner Hill, Weedville, son of the late John and Pauline (Thurston) Beck.
His loving wife of 51 years, Linda L. (Swartz) Beck survives.
He was raised in St. Marys and has lived in Penfield since 1962. He attended Gardner Hill Church, and loved hunting, fishing, and his camp on Gardner Hill.
Angeline Facchine, 94, of a lifelong resident of Shawmut Road, Brockport, and currently a resident at Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 surrounded by her
children at at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born Jan. 1, 1919 in Brandy Camp, daughter of Angelo and Louisa Mariucci Armanini.

She was the devoted wife of Joseph G. Facchine, who she married on July 12, 1947. He died Dec. 3, 1988.
She was a member at Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp.
Angeline was a member of the Rosary Society and the Blue Army.
Sister Josepha Meyer, 86, of Emmaus, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 in St. Lukeâ€™s Hospital, Allentown.
Born in St. Marys, she was the daughter of the late Urban and Caroline (Weinzierl) Meyer. Sister Josepha entered the Benedictine Sisters in St. Marys in 1949. She taught in schools in the Diocese of Erie and served her Benedictine community in a variety of ways. She helped establish the Transfiguration Monastery in Emmaus, which later became a mission of Emmanuel Monastery in Lutherville, Md.
Teresa "Jutta Fodge" McRae died over the weekend as a result of injuries sustainedÂ from being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in her hometown of Albuquerque, N.M.
