Margaret P. Smith, 87, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, and formerly of 185 Center St., died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born July 20, 1923 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late John and Philomena "Minnie" Sweener Ott. On March 23, 1943 in St. Mary's Church, she married the late William R. Smith.
Anna Mae McMinn, 93, of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 456 Main St., Kersey, died on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born November 9, 1917, in Kersey, daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Shoffstahl Greene. On December 16, 1939, in the Callansburg Methodist Church in Callansburg, she married Richard D. McMinn who died on June 1, 2008.
Francis J. "Brownie" Braun, 88, of 122 Wendel Rd., St. Marys, died on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor.
He was born Mar 19, 1923 in St. Marys, a son of the late John and Cecila Feldbauer Braun. On July 2, 1945 in St. Mary's Church, he married the late Matilda "Tillie" Wendel Braun.
Mr. Braun was retired from Stackpole after working there for over 44 years. He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club of Stackpole. In the course of his lifetime, he donated 20 gallons of blood.Â

Charles Carmen Tesauro, 59, of 34 Park Rd., Emporium, and formerly of St. Marys, died Friday morning, April 29, 2011 morning at his residence.
He was born June 21, 1951 in St. Marys, a son of Charles and Betty Huff Tesauro of St. Marys, who survive. On September 27, 1985Â in Emporium, he married Jean Smith Tesauro, who survives.
Mr. Tesauro graduated from St. Marys High School, Class of 1969. He served with the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired from GKN Sintered Metals, where he worked for many years.
Lawrence L. “Bud” Parks, 82, of Old Kane Rd, Wilcox, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Highland View Health Care after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 22, 1928 in Johnsonburg, son of the late Lawrence L. and Vivian (Klase) Parks. He married Angeline “Angie” DeChano of Wilcox, who survives.
Peggy Frick Dithrich, 64, of Ridgway, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Sandi) Borod and Kevin Borod; a daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Dye; five grandchildren, Hayli and Madison Borod and Logan, Alex and Devin Dye; and beloved stepchildren and their families. She donated her body to science.
A memorial service for Peggy Frick Dithrich will be held Saturday, May 14 at 3 p.m. at the Falls Creek Firehouse, 41st St., Falls Creek, PA 15840.

Margaret Agnes Lussky, 94, of Jenks Street, Brookville, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1917 in Byrnedale, daughter of the late James O'Neill and Agnes O'Donnell O'Neill.
On Feb. 3, 1940, in Waynesburg, she married Louis L. Lussky, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1996.
In her younger years, she worked for the Produce Yards in Pittsburgh, and later as an office clerk for Matson Insurance Co. in Brookville.
Kevin William Herzing, 51, of Opelika, Ala., died on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1959, in St. Marys, son of James E. Herzing and the late Juanise E. Herzing.
He spent the majority of his life in Opelika, Ala., where he had many loving friends and clients in Opelika. If your car needed repair, most people came to Kevin. NASCAR made him happy, and Auburn football was his passion.

Frank Maletto, 53, of 2044 Mefferts Run Rd., Wilcox, died Thursday evening, April 21, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 11, 1957 in St. Marys, son of the late Orlando "Popeye" and Borgia McDivitt Maletto.
On Oct. 28, 2006, he married Laurie J. Taylor, who survives.
April 20th
Mildred Minnick, 93, of 316 Main Street, Kersey, died at her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 17, 1918 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Minnick Friedl.
On February 17, 1936 in St. Marys, she married the late Milo Minnick, who preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1984.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Church and a former member of the Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was the last member of her immediate family.
