December 22, 2010

The Coudersport Falcons used a 14-for-14 effort from the foul line in the fourth quarter to defeat the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen by a 59-51 score last night at the Dutch Oven.
St. Marys held a slim 40-38 lead going into the final eight minutes of play. In the fourth quarter, the Falcons outscored the Dutch by a 21-11 margin to come out on top.
“We struggled from the foul line tonight but it was our inability to stop their penetration. They were able to penetrate too easily,” said St. Marys coach Mark Guido.
