Lady Dutch clinch D9 League title with win over Bradford

The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch registered a hard-fought 46-35 victory over the Bradford Area Lady Owls last night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
The victory clinched the District 9 League title for the Lady Dutch. St. Marys is now 8-1 in league play with one league game remaining, to be played on Saturday night when they host Elk Catholic.
Last night’s game was a close affair until the fourth quarter, when St. Marys outscored Bradford by a 17-8 margin. Eight of the Lady Dutch’s 17 points in the final period came from the free-throw line, where they were 18 of 26 for the game.
