Crusaders hang on to defeat DuBois Area 65-51

February 4, 2011

The Elk County Catholic Crusaders came up with a big District Nine League victory over the scrappy DuBois Area Beavers by a 65-51 score in a game played at the Aaron J. Straub gym at Elk Catholic.
The game was a game of runs, as each team had several runs throughout the contest. At times during the contest, it looked like the Crusaders might run away with the game, but then the Beavers would put together a run of their own to get back into the game.
