ECC’s Megan Dornisch top seed in shot put at PIAA meet

A total of 20 local athletes will be competing this weekend in the PIAA track and field championships set for Shippensburg University.
Elk Catholic will be represented by 12 athletes while St. Marys Area will have eight athletes competing.
Elk Catholic’s Megan Dornisch will be the top seed in the girls’ AA shot put with a mark of 44’4.75”. Megan is the defending state champ in this event. She is seeded second in the girls’ AA discus with a throw of 134’10”.
Kennedy Weisner of ECC is seeded second in the 800 run with a time of 2:17.81 and third in the 1600 run with a time of 5:07.26.
