Elk Catholic’s Megan Dornisch defends shot put title

Elk County Catholic senior Megan Dornisch successfully defended her PIAA Class AA shot put championship on Saturday by winning the 2011 crown.
The PIAA track and field championships were held Friday and Saturday at Shippensburg University.
Megan won the 2011 event with a throw of 44’8”. Aubree Ray of Middletown took second with a throw of 40’1.25”. Dornisch won her 2010 shot put title with a throw of 45’8.25”.
