The St. Marys Legion baseball team recorded their seventh victory over the season as they handed the Kane Legion a 12-2 loss in five innings Sunday night at Berwind Park.
St. Marys scored 10 runs in the third and fourth innings to record the win.
The St. Marys squad pounded out 14 hits in the game, led by Anthony Grimone’s triple and double. Nate Geist had two doubles, while Pat Brennen and Luke Nicklas both had a double and a single. Jordan Weinzierl had three singles, while Nick Burdick doubled. Eric Wehler and Mitchell Meyer each had a single.
