The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders completed play in the Allegheny Mountain North Division with a perfect 6-0 record with a 58-23 victory over the Sheffield Lady Wolverines Monday night at the ECCHS gym.
The Lady Crusaders opened a 13-2 first-period lead and led by as many as 30 points with 2:16 left in the contest.
“It was a good team effort tonight. We had balanced scoring and we moved the ball well against their zone and penetrated well,” said ECCHS coach Ken Pistner.
“The bench contributed a great deal tonight. The bench scored 34 points for us tonight,” added Pistner.
