Brookville Raiders hand Dutch 54-33 D9 League loss

January 4, 2012

The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch basketball team opened play in the District 9 League by hosting the Brookville Raiders Tuesday night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven, where the Raiders handed the Dutch a 54-33 loss.
The Raiders outscored the Dutch by a 27-13 margin in the first half and a 27-20 margin in the second half to record the victory.
“This was a bad night,” said St. Marys coach Mark Guido. “We got outcoached, we got outplayed from the beginning to the end.”
“Now we have three practices to get ready for Bradford,” said Guido. “We have to put this game behind us and learn from it.”
