January 30th
The Elk County Catholic Crusader basketball team picked up another victory on Wednesday evening as they defeated the visiting DuBois Area Beavers 60-42 in a game played at the ECCHS gymnasium.
The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch lost a 60-50 District 9 League game to the Bradford Lady Owls Thursday night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
In the final 8:24 of the game, Bradford was able to outscore St. Marys by a 22-11 margin to win the game.
January 28th
The Elk County Catholic Crusader basketball team closed out regular-season play in the Allegheny Mountain League with a 64-42 victory over the Sheffield Wolverines Monday night at the ECCHS gym.
The St. Marys Area gymnastics squad played host to the first annual St. Marys Area Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday at the SMA Middle School gymnasium.
January 27th
The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders held on for a 38-34 Allegheny Mountain League over the Johnsonburg Ramettes Saturday night at the ECCHS gym.
January 25th
The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch basketball team used defense and rebounding in handing the Brookville Lady Raiders a 48-38 District 9 League loss Friday night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
The Johnsonburg Rams (15-1) got another big night from junior Cameron Grumley en route to a 60-37 win Friday over visiting Elk County Catholic.
January 24th
The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch wrestling squad came back from a 19-9 deficit to defeat the Smethport Hubbers by a 39-22 score Thursday night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
January 23rd
The Bradford Owls outscored the Elk County Catholic Crusaders by a 6-3 margin in overtime Wednesday night to take over sole possession of the District 9 League with a 5-0 record as Bradford won the game 42-39.
January 21st
St. Marys Area Lady Dutch senior Adair Gennocro became the school's newest 1,000-point scorer on Monday evening as the Lady Dutch picked up a 42-10 victory over the Ridgway Lady Elkers at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
