The Elk County Catholic Crusader baseball team got down early in Thursday afternoon's game against the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals at Berwind Park, and though they kept the game close the Crusaders were unable to rally and ultimately fell to the Cardinals 7-5.
May 1st
The Elk County Catholic Crusader tennis team advanced to the finals of the District 9-AA tennis team championship with a 5-0 victory over the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals in a match played at Benzinger Park Wednesday.
A walk-off grand slam home run by Hayley McGowan gave the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch softball team a 12-0, five-inning victory over the Brookville Lady Raiders Wednesday afternoon at the SMAHS softball field.
The St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen got down early, fought back to take the lead, but then gave it up and were unable to rally back, coming up short 7-4 on Wednesday evening in a game played against the Brookville Raiders at Berwind Park.

The St. Marys Area track and field teams had their senior night and lone home meet of the season spoiled by Clearfield on Tuesday as the Lady Bison beat the Lady Dutch 83.5 to 66.5 and the Bison defeated the Dutchmen 84-66.
The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader softball team defeated the Ridgway Lady Elkers by a 7-0 score Tuesday afternoon at Benzinger Park.
A 3-run sixth inning was enough to give Ridgway baseball a 3-1 win over Elk County Catholic Tuesday afternoon at Sandy Beach Recreational Park.

The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch baseball team saw their record slip to 1-7 on the year with a 7-1 loss to the Williamsport Area Millionaires Saturday afternoon at Berwind Park.

Behind the one-hit pitching of Andria Copelli and Cassie Wonderling's two home runs, the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch softball team handed the Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders their first loss of the season by a 5-0 score Friday afternoon at the SMAHS softball field.
The St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen hosted the Elk County Catholic Crusaders for the crosstown rivals' first matchup of the season on Friday afternoon at Berwind Park. It was a nice day for baseball and a sizable crowd filled the bleachers to watch what would be an exciting, though lopsided contest as the Crusaders shut out the Dutchmen 11-0.
