The Elk County Catholic Crusaders pulled off a big 67-66 victory over the Johnsonburg Rams on Friday night in a contest played in front of a packed house at the ECCHS gymnasium.
The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch basketball team used a strong second half to come from behind to defeat the Brookville Lady Raiders by a 41-40 score Friday night at the Dutch Oven.
The St. Marys Area Dutch held the lead through the first three quarters of Wednesday night's game against Central Mountain, but the Wildcats were able to rally late and win the game in overtime 68-65.

Elk County Catholic head coach Aaron Straub recorded his 700th varsity boys basketball coaching victory on Monday night as the Crusaders defeated the visiting Kane Wolves 66-26 in a contest played in the ECCHS gymnasium.
The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader basketball team remained perfect in the Allegheny Mountain League with a 35-24 victory over the Kane Lady Wolves Monday night at Kane. Elk is now 7-0 in the AML.
The Bradford Area Lady Owls handed the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch a 49-22 District 9 League setback Monday night at the Dutch Oven.
The St. Marys Area gymnastics squad competed at the Moon Invitational on Saturday and finished with a fourth place team.
Moon won the team event with a 144.95 total. Second place went to Central Valley 128.575 followed by Bellefonte 125.4, St. Marys 121.75, DuBois 119.35, South Side Beaver 118.525, Hopewell 113.45 and Montour 100.125.
