The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch softball team ran their record to 8-3 on the season Tuesday night as they defeated the Brookville Lady Raiders by a 16-0 score in four innings in the first game of a scheduled doubleheader.
The second game was called due to inclement weather with St. Marys on top 9-1 in the home half of the fourth inning.
The Elk County Catholic Crusader baseball team improved to 10-1 on the season with a 10-2 victory over the visiting Brockway Rovers under increasingly threatening skies Tuesday afternoon at Berwind Park.
