The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch soccer team raised their record to 8-8 on the season with a 4-1 victory over the Redbank Valley Bulldogs Tuesday afternoon at the SMAHS soccer field on Senior Day.
The Kane High School and Middle School cross country teams finished out their regular seasons competing against St. Marys and Ridgway on Tuesday on the Wolvesâ€™ home course. No team scores were kept as only the Kane boys and the St. Marys girls fielded full teams.
The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders shut out the Smethport Lady Hubbers 4-0 in a rainy match played at Benzinger Park on Monday afternoon. It was also senior night for the Lady Crusaders.
The Elk County Catholic Crusader soccer team ended their final home game of the regular season with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Smethport Hubbers. It was chilly and damp for the match, which was played on Monday evening at Angela Huey Memorial Field in Fox Township, but the weather had little impact on the home team as Charlie Bobby recorded a hat trick and Ian Herzing added a goal as Elk Catholic improved to 12-3-1.
The Punxsutawney Chucks scored two touchdowns in the second half to come from behind to edge the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen by a 28-21 score in SMA's Pink Game.

The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch volleyball team saw their record slip to 8-4 on the season as they lost a 3-1 match to the Sheffield Lady Wolverines Thursday night at the SMAHS gym.
The St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen entered Thursday afternoon's game against the Coudersport Falcons in need of a win. Despite their best efforts, they did not end up getting one; however, they did not end up with a loss either. Instead, the two teams battled to a 2-2 double overtime draw in a match played at the SMAHS soccer field.
