The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch softball team defeated the Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders by a 3-0 score in a game played Friday at Benzinger Park.
The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch softball team evened their record at 3-3 with a 3-0 victory over the DuBois Area Lady Beavers on a cold and windy afternoon at the SMAHS softball field.
Brandon Schlimm struck out 12 batters over the course of six innings on the mound for ECC and the Crusaders used strong showings in the second and sixth innings to defeat the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals by a score of 10-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
Missed opportunities were becoming the norm as St. Marys Area and Ridgway continued to pile up zeroes on the linescore Tuesday afternoon.

Warren came up with three runs in the to half of the sixth inning to down the Lady Dutch 3-0.
The St. Marys Area girls' and boys' track and field teams hosted the Elk County Catholic and DuBois Central Catholic squads in a meet on Thursday afternoon at Dutch Country Stadium.
The Lady Crusaders defeated St. Marys 78-72, and the Crusaders beat the Dutchmen 87-61.
