Headed into the final bout of the night, the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen held a slim three-point lead over county rival Ridgway Elkers, 31-28. At one point in the match, the Dutchmen had held a 22-point lead, but Ridgway had rallied and looked poised to steal the victory. Faced with a must-win scenario, St. Marys Area's Cameron Resch came through with a 4-1 decision over Ridgway's Drew Baumgratz to give the Dutch the 34-28 match victory.
The Elk County Catholic Crusaders defeated the Sheffield Wolverines by a 71-33 score on Little Dribblers Night and Senior Player Night at the ECCHS gym.

The St. Marys Area Dutch wrestling squad was handed their first dual meet loss of the season on Tuesday night when they were defeated 42-24 by a tough Brookville squad at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
