This "Winter Wonderland" was captured along Hayes Road in Kersey by Kersey resident Marilyn Secco. Secco noted that "photo ops (like this) were everywhere Wednesday morning" due to the recent snowfall.

14th annual Rendezvous comes to close

The 14th Annual Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous wrapped up Saturday with a large auction which started at noon and featured 200 pieces, each sculpture donated by a different carver. Visitors crowded around the Udarbe Business Towers. where carvings were arranged along the street for all to view.

Expo highlights area businesses

A steady crowd was on hand Saturday for the Business Expo held at The Red Fern in St. Marys from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Many area business vendors participated in the event. Elk Regional Health Center held a Patient Appreciation Day in the back room of the facility where several representatives from their various service areas had displays set up for visitors. Among those visiting the expo were Congressman Glenn Thompson (R-5).
