The fifth-seeded Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders battled through wet and muddy conditions on Tuesday night at the Clarion Area High School to rally for a 3-2 victory over the fourth-seeded Clarion Lady Bobcats in the District 9 Class A quarterfinals.
The Elk County Catholic Crusader football team is making sure their fans get to see a little bit of everything this season. They started off the year with a couple of big shutout victories, added a few closer games, got their only loss to date out of the way, and most recently they have been rallying in the fourth quarter to come up with with some key victories.
The Kane High School and Middle School cross country teams finished out their regular seasons competing against St. Marys and Ridgway on Tuesday on the Wolvesâ€™ home course. No team scores were kept as only the Kane boys and the St. Marys girls fielded full teams.
